This is the second generation Katana S model. It features a one piece tailplane for less weight, the firewall has been moved to allow for the fitting of rear induction engines such as the PTE50I and the DLE, lighter construction without sacrificing strength, and larger control surfaces for greatly improved 3D and aerobatics. The rudder is now pull-pull and the elevator servo's are now in the fuse allowing a thinner and more efficient tailplane. The fuse is slimmer and closer to scale. It performs a lot better in the air than the previous model. Katana is another great model from Flight Model. It flies exceptionally well and is suited to all levels of fliers. Excellent choice for any of the 50-55cc engines we sell. Hinges are Robart style hinge points. Carbon fiber wing tube. Great model for entry level to the larger scale petrol models.
